A Motor Ride game - original 1910 version from the National Archives of Australia
Here is the next in the vintage National Games series.
According to the National Archives of Australia, the original version of this was published in 1910 – this is the low-resolution image from their collection, provided here simply under their ‘fair dealing’ terms.
There is yet another version in the collection of the Powerhouse Museum, which is more attractive than the Archives’ copy, but for some reason they have contaminated their image with die-cast toys, perhaps of the same era, but clearly not part of the original game!

I don’t know the date for my obviously more recent version, but based on the artwork here I would guess at about 1930. I think this incarnation has the most attractive artwork of all versions.
For the record, there is about a day’s worth of effort in the digital restoration work I put in for this one.
